I’m on Fire

Inspiration, rage, passion, and fear are all very motivating feelings. brandee has always felt at home in the rain and the dark. The scary, unknown elements are of course still there but the beauty and intrigue are present as well. Particularly, she loves how bright colors feel with an overcast sky.

This painting is meant to represent the feeling of suppressed emotions. Ghostly figures fly throughout, vestiges of old pains and ancestral patterns. Mythical and animal guides look on with concern, waiting close by.
