In this workshop, we’ll transform the ordinary into something special by making wands. Starting with a plain stick each person will be able to choose from things like charms, stones, beads, string, wire, and paint to create a magical totem. These can be used as decoration, fidget toys, make-believe toys, and meditation/grounding tools.
In addition to the craft itself, there will also be information about the history of wands. As with many things in modern witchcraft, fact and fiction can get a little blurry. For this craft, we can allow both history and mythology to stand together as inspiration for our modern lives.
